Giovanni Spillere founds TELITALIA, a company initially dedicated to the production of electrical material and transformers.

FUTURA, the first domestic, electrode welding machine is exhibited in Milan, at the “Fiera Campionaria” (trade show).

The spread to continental markets in Germany, France and Austria as the main OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer).

Presentation of the first compact MINI MAX wire welding machine. An enormous success in Europe and North America.

Switch from TELITALIA to TELWIN (TELitalia Welding International) with strengthening of its vocation for internationalisation.

Pronounced increase in the products typology offered on the market with the widest range: arc welding machines, spot welding machines, plasma cutting systems, battery chargers and starters.

Introduction, as primary players on the market, of INVERTARC 100, the first inverter electrode welding machine.

Expansion on markets in the 5 continents, turnover distribution of 75% on export, 210 collaborators.

Transfer of the company from the Villaverla premises in via de Gasperi, to the management office and new production plants in Via della Tecnica, “The Home of Welding”.

Important increase of the Telwin products’ presence in the Automotive and Industrial sectors.

Extension of production plants located in Via della Tecnica, on an area of more than 120,000 sq.m. confirming Telwin as the largest industrial and research pole in the whole sector.

The INVERPULSE range of pulsed synergic welding machines and the INVERSPOTTER inverter spot-welders represent the leading edge of Telwin’s current hi-tech. Today, Telwin is close to a turnover of 100 million/€, with a team of 300 collaborators engaged daily in efficiently and professionally guaranteeing highly technological and qualitative products for the market.
