Superior Tig 422 AC/DC Wave is the  TIG AC/DC, TIG PULSE and MMA welding machine, designed for the professional world and industry. Precision and quality in processing are the result of advanced features that guarantee superior productivity and reliability.

INTUITIVE AND CUSTOMIZABLE

Superior Tig 422 Wave features the WAVE OS system which simplifies welding operations (EASY mode); makes them  customisable based on user requirements (EXPERT mode);  traceable and analysable by saving data via USB.

EASY MODE

Automatic parameter setup by selecting the thickness and material:

  • The display will show the recommended electrode and gas flow rate.
  • Key operating parameters (current and voltage) are always highlighted and easily visible on the display.
  • Synergic parameters adjustment by simply setting the welding thickness.

PRO MODE

Customisation of all TIG welding parameters for exceptional work flexibility:

  • Saving/recalling customized programs.
  • Customized display of the workspace screen.

More than 10 welding modes:

PULSE TIG

The low heat input of the pulse mode ensures minimal deformations and facilitates welding, especially in difficult positions or on materials requiring low heat input (STAINLESS STEEL - ALUMINIUM).

  • Secure weld pool control for first-pass welds in difficult positions and on thin sheets.
  • Reduced distortion due to lower heat input.
  • Ideal for aesthetically pleasing weld seams thanks to the high-quality visual result.

AC WELDING

It is possible to select different waveforms for AC welding according to processing requirements. By choosing between Sinus, Square or Optimised wave, different arc stability and noise reduction are achieved.

  • SINUS: softer arc, less effective for heating, more silent.

  • SQUARE: dynamic arc, more efficient for heating.

  • OPTIMIZED: optimized curve that combines the advantages of the sinus wave with those of the square ones.

PULSE & EASY PULSE

Welding in all positions

This model operates in both pulsed (PULSE) and facilitated pulsed (EASY PULSE) modes, ideal for applications on thin thicknesses or easily deformable materials, using optimized minimum current arc strike (HF/LIFT).

ThinSpot is an advanced function that allows spot welding in TIG of thin sheets in an easy, precise and rapid way. Particularly designed for working on stainless steel, it can also be used on Steel and Titanium.

MIX AC/DC

Function designed to heat the piece to be welded and prepare it for AC welding. It alternates current phases in AC to others in DC. It is particularly useful when working on thicknesses or pieces with large masses.

MMA WELDING

Electrode welding in both continuous and pulsed mode (MMA Pulse) ensures excellent results with basic electrodes and in positional welding.

FEATURES:

  • Solid ergonomic handles to move the machine effortlessly;
  • Front bar for screen protection and movement of the product in the work area;
  • Cooling through dedicated air tunnel to protect the machine against dust and dirt.
  • The ventilation slots direct the air downwards, preventing it from interfering with the welding area where it is necessary to guarantee the presence of shielding gas.

 

Ensures the best performance even with undervoltages (up to -25%) and overvoltages (+ 15%).

Designed and built with durable, recyclable plastics that absorb shocks thanks to protective structures.
